L’exposition met en scène une soirée de Nöel décalée. Les téléviseurs dispersés dans l’espace d’exposition, diffusent les films de douze vidéastes expérimentés ou novices. Un treizième film enchevêtre les interviews des douze « filmeurs » avant et après la soirée. La dissociation entre la prise de vue et le montage permet à la fois un regard très intime sur la rencontre familiale et un montage cohérent d’un film à l’autre. L’environnement sonore et visuel (des écrans, un décor fait de quelques guirlandes, de boules cassées et d'un sapin desséché) recréait l'ambiance du lendemain de fête.

The exhibition stages a weird christmas party. The television sets scattered in the exhibition space broadcast the films of twelve film-makers, experimented or novice. A thirteenth film tangles the interviews of the twelve film-makers before and after the party. The dissociation between the takes and the mounting allows both a very intimate view on family gathering and a coherent mounting from a film to another one. The sound and visual environment ( screens, a set made of a few strings of lights, broken christmas balls and a dried up christmas tree recreates the after-party atmosphere.
